Student Freshers Have A Knockout Time

The Hartlepool Mail reports that 1000 local first year students at East Durham College took part in a massive It's A Knockout event recently.

The students competed against each other in a range of team challenges including massive air-filled courses, inflatable demolition balls, nets, a bungee run and paint-balling, as well as seven-a-side football, pancake throwing, penalty shoot-out and crossbar challenge. Sounds like great Team Building Fun!

Army recruitment teams from Catterick, Newcastle and the Rifles, Durham, helped to run the event and also supplied a number of pieces of apparatus.
