Charity Event, £10,000 For Children's Hospice!

A wet and wacky It's A Knockout Charity Event held Sunday Sept 26th 2011 in Shrewsbury was a raving success according to the Shropshire Star. The 11 teams taking part have hopefully raised in excess of £10,000 for the local Hope House Children's Hospice.

It was the first of it's kind in the area and attended by 100's of supporters, the local Mayor and the football team's mascots 'Lenny the Lion' and 'Teddy'. The organisers have said the event's success has suggested this should be an annual charity fund raiser... fingers crossed the It's A Knockout fun bug is forever catching on. Long live It's A Knockout!
